Welcome to Destination Dinner Stage—Winnipeg’s newest entertainment experience where culinary excellence meets live performance.

Dinner Theatre Reimagined

Since opening in 2024, Destination Dinner Stage has transformed Winnipeg’s dinner theatre scene with a fresh, fun, and food-forward approach. It’s not just dinner and a show—it’s an immersive experience where culinary creativity meets musical comedy.

What Makes It Unique

From cult classics to pop-culture icons, every production is packed with nostalgia, humour, and local flavour—written by Artistic Director Randy Apostle and performed by Manitoba talent.

Themed Menus Crafted for Each Show

Can’t Buy me Love – The Beatles Forever

It’s the swinging ’60s! Step back into the halls of “Liverpool High”, where four lads with mop-top dreams are about to shake up the school talent show. Four students form a band to impress their crushes, two exchange students, all the way from Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada. But nothing goes smoothly for the fab four, the boys can’t agree on a name for their band, the rival acts are really great, the principal believes rock music rots the brain and the girls can’t decide which boy they like! Join us for this hysterical, harmony-filled spoof where Beatlemania crashes headfirst into high school comedy. Screaming is optional. Dancing is unavoidable! Can’t Buy Me Love… A Hard Day’s Spoof!

Grandpa’s Home alone

When the family forgets more than just the fruitcake and leaves Grandpa behind, what starts as a quiet holiday for one cranky old man, turns into a wild sleigh ride of jukebox jams, questionable eggnog, and booby traps no senior citizen should know how to build. When a pair of clueless crooks come calling, they think Grandpa’s an easy mark. But this mischievous old man’s got pranks, traps, and one-liners sharp enough to jingle their bells. It’s a naughty, nutty, holly-jolly comedy caper that proves you’re never too old to save Christmas!

That’s Dirty Dancing

Pack your bags for Loverman’s Lodge, where summer love sizzles to the beat of your favorite hits, the jukebox spins nonstop, and the dance floor is strictly no corners allowed. Baby meets Johnny and sparks fly on the dance floor but off the floor… let’s just say not everyone plays nice. A villain sets sights on the Lodge and we discover that our leading man moonlights in a rougher line of work… one that involves fewer mambos and a lot more mayhem. Get ready for romance, jukebox jams, and a Swayze double take you won’t see coming. It’s romance, music, and mayhem all rolled into one hilarious show. This summer, the time of your life comes with a punchline!

Cast & Crew

Griffin Kehler

Paul

Griffin grew up in Winkler Manitoba and was a part of Flatlands, the community theatre there, until he moved to Winnipeg. Here he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts – Honours in Theatre Performance from the University of Winnipeg and spent a season with the Village Conservatory of Music Theatre. If you are familiar with this stage, you may recognize Griffin from Heartbreak Hotel (Charlie) or Shrek (Lord Farthwade). Other stage credits include: Jimmy – Dream (Rosebud Theatre), Ren – Footloose (42nd St. Pro.), and Laurie – Little Women (Rosebud Theatre). Film credits include: Pastor Chad – Maria and the Mennos (Yes TV) and Prince Charming – Big Small Town (Bell Fibe TV).

Brad Zacharias

George

Brad is elated to be performing as The Quiet Beatle! From Carman, Manitoba, you may have seen Brad in a couple shows on this stage (Mamma Mia: An ABBA Love Story, Golden Gals Vacation) or working behind the scenes in various positions. For this role, he has been preparing since high school, when he first borrowed his parents’ 1 album and the Anthology from a friend. He would like to thank those parents, that friend Ernie Enns, and as always, his wife Jeny for supporting his virtuous mischief.

Michael O’Keefe

John

Michael O’Keefe is thrilled to be in his first production at Destination Dinner Stage! He’s been acting professionally for 10 years. Most recently he wrote, produced and acted in a show in Mazatlán, Mexico earlier this year. Michael is a brand new, proud resident of Winnipeg, so feel free to offer him a ride to show him your favorite hangouts. Like any sane person, the Beatles are his all-time favorite band and playing John is an absolute dream come true. Tonight’s performance is dedicated to his Darling Jill and two cats Jughead and Josephine.

Tom Brooks

Ringo

Tom Brooks is a British actor who came over to Winnipeg in 2023 and has been following his dreams of performing and being a part of the community here in Manitoba! Tom studied film and theatre acting at Kingdom School of Arts and has been involved in many projects since; including Hood and Dagger Productions ‘And Then There Were None’, Radio Canada’ ‘Le Monde De Gabrielle Roy’, and ‘Grease Lightning’, ‘ABBA! A Mamma Mia Love Story’ and ‘Die Harder’ with Destination Dinner Stage.

Tom will be returning to Destination Dinner Stage with ‘Can’t Buy Me Love: The Beatles Forever’ and can’t wait to be singing Beatles tunes and working with the talented cast and crew! Now let’s all ‘Come Together’ and enjoy an evening of rock and roll! Special thanks to my partner Zoe Zbirun – my love, my light, who comes to every opening show I’ve been in without fail and supports me every step of the way! Love you always.

Thank you and enjoy the show!
