Welcome to Destination Dinner Stage—Winnipeg’s newest entertainment experience where culinary excellence meets live performance.

Dinner Theatre Reimagined

Since opening in 2024, Destination Dinner Stage has transformed Winnipeg’s dinner theatre scene with a fresh, fun, and food-forward approach. It’s not just dinner and a show—it’s an immersive experience where culinary creativity meets musical comedy.

What Makes It Unique

Musical Spoofs with a Manitoba Twist

From cult classics to pop-culture icons, every production is packed with nostalgia, humour, and local flavour—written by Artistic Director Randy Apostle and performed by Manitoba talent.

Themed Menus Crafted for Each Show

Chef Kitt Perfumo designs a three-course menu inspired by the script, turning every meal into part of the story. Think cozy comfort for holiday spoofs or bold flavours for cult classics.

Why Guests Love It

  • Laugh-out-loud parodies like Golden Gals Vacation and Die Harder: A Manitoba Christmas Story.
  • A vibrant, welcoming atmosphere perfect for date nights, celebrations, or group outings.
  • Local talent and authentic Winnipeg humour that make every performance feel personal.

Grandpa’s Home Alone

When the family forgets more than just the fruitcake and leaves Grandpa behind, what starts as a quiet holiday for one cranky old man, turns into a wild sleigh ride of jukebox jams, questionable eggnog, and booby traps no senior citizen should know how to build. When a pair of clueless crooks come calling, they think Grandpa’s an easy mark. But this mischievous old man’s got pranks, traps, and one-liners sharp enough to jingle their bells. It’s a naughty, nutty, holly-jolly comedy caper that proves you’re never too old to save Christmas!

Cast & Crew

Jill Martin

as Frances "Baby" Houseman

Jill is delighted to be a part of her first show with Destination Dinner Stage! Originally from Brandon; she got her start performing in musicals by joining the local community theatre groups. She has recently returned to her home province of Manitoba after living in Alberta for the past six years and is very grateful to be spending time with her family and close friends again (hugs and kisses to Dad, Kathy, Auntie Brenda and Uncle Milas!). You may have seen her in past productions at Celebrations Dinner Theatre or out in Estevan, SK at the Souris Valley Theatre. Special thanks to the creative team at DDS and much love to her partner Michael, the fur-babies Josephine and Jughead, but most of all, to Devin for bailing her out of jail that one time.

Amy Vink

as Lisa Houseman / Bob Wesley

Amy is over the moon to be spending her summer at Loverman’s Lodge with her very best pals! Most recently, you may have seen her in past DDS shows as Holly (Die Harder), Sandy (Grease Lightning), and Beth Mutton (Yellowstone). Amy received her BA in theatre at the Augustana University of Alberta and has been performing across Western Canada for the last nine years. Special thanks to her amazing family back home, the production team for this show, the village that is her theatre community, and the brilliant love of her life, Brandon. Also thank you to Devin who saved her from that grizzly bear attack that one time.

Brandon Vink

as Johnny Castle / Dalton / Stan

Brandon is back and dirtier than ever! A Destination Dinner Stage regular; Brandon has most recently performed in Die Harder (John Portage) as well as Greased Lightning (Danny Zippo) and Yellowstone (Waylon Whiskey Jr) and is blessed to return with such an amazing cast once again! Brandon is also a member of Winnipeg based improv troupe Soap Scum and is in the process writing and creating new projects alongside his darling wife, Amy. A huge thank you to his family and friends for their support. Endless love to his light, Amy. Special thanks to Devin for the freezer full of crab meat.

Michael O' Keefe

as Richard (Dickie) Buckworth / Sam Garrett / Thug 2

Michael was just John Lennon in our previous production. Michael couldn’t find the exit, so Destination Dinner Stage put him in this show as well. The process of creating That’s Dirty Dancing with this wonderful cast and crew has been a pure joy! He hopes this show gives you the confidence to not just dance but dance DIRTY!! Love to Jill. And a special thanks to Devin, his rock throughout all of this.

Devin Lowry

as Neil Loverman

Devin is thrilled to be making his Destination Dinner Stage debut! He is a multi-disciplinary artist based out of Treaty 1, Winnipeg, MB. A graduate of The University of Winnipeg Theatre and Film Honours Program (2019) and alumnus of The Village Conservatory (2021). Recent credits include: ‘Hockey Mom, Hockey Dad’ (RMTC); ‘The Martian and the Mound’, ‘End of the Line’ (TPM) ‘Frozen’, ‘Rock of Ages’, ‘The Hockey Sweater’ (Rainbow Stage); ‘Dogfight’, ‘The Prom’ (DryCold Productions); ‘FAME’ (WST); ‘Pool, No Water’, ‘Your Brain on Anxiety’ (WPG Fringe); Middletown, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Frankenstein (U of W). Devin would like to recognize that he would not be here following his passion without the love and support of his family and friends. Enjoy the show!
