Destination Dinner Stage – Footsloose
Footsloose
Get ready for Footsloose at Destination Dinner Stage, a summer musical adventure filled with laughter, dancing and unexpected twists!
The little beach town of Sandspit Bay is booming, sunny days, packed beaches and tourist dollars rolling in. On first glance all seems normal, until you discover that due to an incident last summer where a shoreline dance party ended in chaos and echoes of old fisherman’s Quint’s warning: move like that on the sand, and you’ll bring bad things in from deeper water! And just like that, dancing was no more!
Enter Casey and her dad, Matt, a rather offbeat marine biologist. They are moving back to his home town for a fresh start. Casey doesn’t just like music, she needs it, dancing is how she thinks, how she resets and how she moves through life. She must somehow convince Sandspit Bay that dance is a necessity of life while her dad searches for the menace in the water. This summer we are going to need a bigger dance floor…
